Is this a service for resolving disputes about medical bills?

My ex-husband and I are in a custody dispute. His lawyer has asked for me to sign a authorization to release my medical information to them (why i don’t know). Can a judge force me to do this?

I was charged a rescheduling fee of $50.00 for cancelling an appointment with a Dr. for a procedure due to my negligence to prep for the procedure i.e. fasting, etc. I signed no documents agreeing to pay any cancellation fees nor did the nurses inform me that I would be charged a fee if I failed to give adequate notice of cancellation or rescheduling. However, in my prep paperwork, there is a statement regarding these fees and the medical center’s cancellation policy. So, I just want to know if this Dr.’s office has a legal right to charge these fees and if I dispute the fees can they send it to collections?
So, I have a had a few answers but none have really answered my question. Do Dr.’s offices in CA have a legal right to charge cancellation fees? “Legal right” being the key phrase. If they do, then by what authority, California Law or otherwise, do they have the right to do this? The fact that it was my “fault”, as one respondee put it, is irrelevant.

I have a medical collections account from 2002. Today I tried to call the collection agency to set up a pay for deletion agreement. The phone number is disconnected. I tried to google the company but had not luck. In this situation is it safe for me to try to dispute the account due to not being able to contact them? I’m working on repairing my credit and would love to be able to do this IF it is worth it and won’t hurt me in the long run.

I had a dispute with a medical bill and they finally sent it to a collection agency in 2005. I got a letter from this collection agency, but I haven’t heard from them ever since. I recently bought a car and found out that the collection account is there, and it brought down my credit score a lot. My question is what should I do to deal with this collection record and make my credit score better? Should I pay off the debt? I was read some posts here, where they talk about paying off an old debt will not benefit the credit score, but may make it worse. Is it true?

I had my case managment thing today for the divorce. The only thing in dispute is the medical bill. I am thinking that ill just pay that to get this whole divorce over with. Is it possible that i call the mediator back and tell her ill just pay for it. Will this make things go by faster? Instead of going to trial will i just get the divorce? Can i even call her back and tell her what i think?

If you are under 18 can items go on your credit report. Like medical bills that weren’t covered by your parents insurance. Or if you file a dispute will it be taken off?

I have experienced many things in life in the rim of spirituality! And I myself had questioned this here event, because just as doctors have said, how is this poissible. Like so many have said, and myself, how the baby was feed. But seeing the proveth and the medical records inwhich the doctors couldn’t explain, and put a mark where her navel should’ve been, there was only one explanation that I arrived at, that she is special, and a singn from the Heavenly Father! “GOD JEHOVAH!” A miracle child! With the Heavenly Father! “GOD JEHOVAH!” ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Those who critize and dispute this fact are ignorant and childish. Yes! I am a true godly man, and this is the very reason that I receives negartive feedback, from those who are narrow minded with a one track mind, due to their lacking in the Holy Word of the Heavenly Father!
